Gout medication improves heart attack outcomes

A new New England Journal of Medicine publication suggests that an old gout medication may significantly help patients after an acute heart attack.

I found this study particularly interesting . It provides valuable information for patients. The medication appears to improve outcomes after having had a heart attack. It is a simple and safe drug usually used for gout.
